Congress: Injustice to Telangana in the Central Budget

  • Congress Party Protest in Armur

Congress: In protest against the central government’s attitude towards Telangana in the central budget, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, under the direction of Congress Party In-charge of Armur constituency in Nizamabad district Prodduturi Vinay Kumar Reddy, protested in front of Ambedkar’s statue at Ambedkar Square in Armur Municipal Town Center. On this occasion, Constituency Congress Party In-charge Vinay Kumar Reddy and former Nizamabad District Library Chairman Mara Chandra Mohan expressed their anger over the way the BJP MPs from Telangana region behaved in a way that shamed the Telangana community by introducing a budget without allocating a single rupee to Telangana in the central budget.
Even though eight MPs have won and two are representing from here as Union Ministers, even as MP Arvind had said in the past, a Navodaya Vidyalaya and Military Sainik Schools were promised to the district. There is no mention of this in the budget. MLA Rakesh Reddy here boasts that he brought about the integrated school that our state government announced. Wherever there are BJP governments, there is high priority given to it.
That is how elections are held in Bihar or Delhi, and not only this, but also in Andhra Pradesh, which is nearby, a high budget has been allocated. It is very happy to announce such a thing, but if we give a single rupee for it, we will not be able to provide a lot of funds for our Telangana. However, the BJP workers and leaders here boast about it. We are questioning MP Arvind on this. Similarly, the railway line from Armur to Adilabad has been running for many years, but not a single rupee has been spent on it, what has this Arvind done for six years, what is this donkey’s egg? He said on this occasion. Similarly, the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, said that we are warning that all states should be treated equally and treated equally in development.

Telangana state has been completely ignored for the last 11 years. The previous rulers did not have the opportunity to go and ask, but in the past 14 months, our Chief Minister or our ministers have gone to the Prime Minister and Union ministers many times and asked for funds for this state. But in the budget held yesterday, without giving a rupee anywhere, we were hoping that whatever was given to the neighboring state would be given a chapter thick. But even that was not given, I am sure that I will tell the leaders of this BJP party or here, this has started, we are warning you that there will be no situation in which you will be returned to the villages, he said.

This is not just here, I am requesting every activist to not take up such protests in every village, at the village and mandal levels, saying that this central government has not given funds to the Telangana state. I am also requesting everyone to work in a way that will lead the Congress party to victory in the local body elections that are being held in the villages in the coming days.
