Police: Rajanna Sircilla District SP Akhil Mahajan emphasized the crucial role played by the Armed Reserve (AR) wing in ensuring law and order, alongside the Civil and Main Police divisions. He appreciated the efficiency of the Armed Reserve personnel in maintaining peace and security in the district.
As part of the annual Armed Forces Training (Mobilization) closing ceremony on Wednesday, SP Akhil Mahajan attended the parade ground at the District Police Office as the chief guest and received the guard of honor from the armed police personnel. Speaking on the occasion, he urged police officers and staff to continuously enhance their professional skills in line with the evolving law enforcement challenges.
The training program included sessions on arms drill, lathi drill, foot drill, ceremonial drill, guard mounting, mob operation, firing, nakabandi (check posts), picketing, VIP security duties, prisoner escort, cash escort, and law & order management. SP Mahajan highlighted the significance of mobilization training in helping police personnel maintain their professional expertise and physical fitness.
