Medak SP : Medak District SP D. Uday Kumar Reddy inaugurated the installation of CCTV cameras at the Yedupayala T-Junction in Potham Shettipally village under the jurisdiction of Kulcharam Police Station. The event was attended by Medak DSP Prasanna Kumar, Medak Rural CI Rajasekhar Reddy, Kulcharam SI Mohammed Ghouse, Papannapet SI Sara Srinivas Goud, and other police personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, SP D. Uday Kumar Reddy emphasized the importance of CCTV cameras in controlling crime. He urged residents of villages and towns, along with public representatives, to take the initiative in setting up CCTV cameras in their respective areas. He highlighted that CCTV surveillance helps in preventing crimes such as theft, murder, and road accidents, and also assists in identifying and apprehending criminals.
24/7 Public Safety Through CCTV Surveillance
The SP further stated that CCTV cameras provide round-the-clock security to the public and help the police respond quickly to any incidents. He assured that the police department is actively working to implement community policing by installing CCTV cameras in all villages and towns.
Appeal for Donations and Public Participation
SP D. Uday Kumar Reddy called upon donors and public representatives to support the initiative by contributing to the installation of CCTV cameras in key locations, particularly in village centers and major intersections. He reiterated that a single CCTV camera is as effective as a hundred policemen and urged everyone to recognize its significance in ensuring safety and security in society.
