Review : Karimnagar Smart City Corporation Limited (KSCCL) is accelerating the completion of its development projects, with Commissioner Chahat Bajpai instructing Project Management Consultants (PMC) and engineering officials to ensure all Smart City works are finished by the end of March.
A review meeting was held on Tuesday at the Municipal Corporation office, where the Commissioner, along with PMC officials and municipal engineering officers, conducted an in-depth discussion on various Smart City projects. The meeting focused on completed projects, ongoing works, and pending projects. The Commissioner also reviewed the details of bills paid for completed works and sought updates on the progress of ongoing developments.
Some of the key ongoing projects include the Digital Library, Karkhanagadda Bala Sadbhavana, Kashmirgadda Integrated Market, Underground Drainage System, Integrated Command and Control Building, Padmanagar Junction, Tower Circle Modernization, Smart E-Classrooms in Schools, and Signage Installation. The Commissioner emphasized the importance of expediting these projects and issued necessary directives to the concerned officials.
Commissioner Chahat Bajpai stressed that all projects designed under the Smart City initiative must be completed within the extended deadline set by the government. She instructed officials to ensure that central and state government funds are fully utilized to avoid lapses. Additionally, she directed that the two pending projects be launched immediately.
Furthermore, the Commissioner ordered that work slip orders be issued for completed projects to facilitate timely bill payments. She also mandated the submission of a detailed report covering all projects from the start of the Smart City initiative until March. All project details should be compiled and made ready before the upcoming board meeting.
The Commissioner also emphasized the swift completion and proper documentation of government school smart classrooms and school modernization projects.
